Lynd Fruit Farm cancels its U-pick weekend for two types of apples

PATASKALA -- Lynd Fruit Farm announced via a temporary Facebook page that it will have to cancel its highly-popular u-pick weekend for two types of apples.The farm made the announcement due to both the heavy rains and high heat of the summer. According to the post, the Honeycrisp apple crop must be picked early and graded by the farm's professional staff. A limited supply of Honeycrisp apples will be available at the market. The farm also announced that MacIntosh apple U-pick also was canceled.
