Local ODOT official picked as new Delaware County administrator

Delaware County Commissioners have selected a longtime transportation official and Powell resident to be the county's next administrator. Ferzan M. Ahmed, 51, announced Friday morning, will begin the job on April 11. He previously was executive director of the Ohio Department of Transportation's District 6, which covers eight counties including Franklin and Delaware.
