Local financial stocks break out in 2016

After it was all said and done, 2016 turned out to be a great year to own shares of central Ohio's publicly traded financial companies. All of them rose by at least 19.5 percent. One, DCB Financial, the parent of Delaware County Bank, jumped by a staggering 148 percent — first on news that it was being bought and then on a big rally in bank stocks as the year drew to a close.
