From 1900-40, Columbus became the epicenter of an African-American artistic explosion that crossed all genres and created a new social and cultural landscape. As part of this free series designed to generate discussion on a variety of interesting questions surrounding the community, this program will explore the 21st-century insurgence of socially and culturally conscious African-American art and its impact on the American canvas.
