Lightning strikes a home’s attic causing a fire in Pataskala

PATASKALA – The Licking County Fire Department is on the scene of a fire after lightning struck the attic of a home.It happened just before 6 a.m. Sunday in the 200 block of Main Street in Pataskala.A Licking County firefighter told 10TV there were two people inside of the home and they were able to make it out the home safely.Firefighters were able to contain the fire quickly and there was no visible damage to the outside of the home.Stay with 10TV and 10TV.com on this developing story.
