Licking County students raise thousands for cancer research

The kids at Licking Valley Elementary don't take the impacts of cancer research lightly. The students took part in Relay Recess and raised more than $6,500."People go around to each classroom and then like you can get your face painted and that type of stuff," said Jacqueline Gieseler, a fourth grader at the Intermediate School.You could call them "cancer-prenuers", little entrepreneurs who raised money in honor of cancer survivors and those who died from the sickness."My grandma Barsotti, she h
