Licking County murder suspect’s ex-husband also arrested

NEWARK — The ex-husband of a Licking County woman charged with murder in the death of her boyfriend has been arrested in connection with the crime. Kyle Johnston, 34, is in custody in the Pickaway County Jail, booked on a fugitive from justice warrant issued by the Licking County Sheriff's Office, according to jail records. Johnston is the ex-husband of Bobbi Proehl, 31, who was charged with murder Tuesday in the death of her boyfriend, Larry Hannah.
