Licking County jail cook admits to having sexual relationship with inmate

An employee at the Licking County Justice Center has been charged after she admitted to having a relationship with an inmate.According to the Licking County Sheriff’s Office, they were informed on March 28 that 43-year-old Heather Bookman was possibly having a sexual relationship with an inmate while on duty.Bookman was questioned about the allegation and she admitted to having sex with an inmate in a bathroom in 2017.
