Leavened with humor, musical 'Waitress' tracks pie-baking protagonist as she seeks change

The smell of pies is a palpable ingredient in "Waitress," a girl-power musical that aims to cook up equal amounts of comedy and drama. Broadway in Columbus and the Columbus Association for the Performing Arts will present the national tour in Columbus, with the run at the Ohio Theatre beginning Tuesday.
