Late demand overshadows supply of eclipse glasses

The six-year survivor of melanoma ensured her eyes would be protected by solar eclipse glasses for Monday's event and also bought about two dozen pairs for friends and family. The 56-year-old Clintonville resident bought the Reynoldsburg Pearle Vision store's last five pairs Friday at $7.99 each plus tax.
