L Brands posts record sales despite lackluster January

L Brands today reported record fourth-quarter sales despite a weak showing in January. The Columbus-based parent of Victoria’s Secret and Bath & Body Works reported sales of $4.4 billion for the fourth quarter, ended Jan. 30. That's up from sales of $4.1 billion for the same quarter a year ago.
