Kroger to close Linden area store in January

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Kroger announced Friday that it plans to close one of its Columbus stores in January 2018.The store located at 3353 Cleveland Avenue in the Linden area will close its doors on Jan. 31.Mike Murphy, vice president of operations for Kroger's Columbus Division, says the decision to close the store was due to poor sales.The fuel center at that location will also be closing.Murphy says that Kroger is offering more than 100 hundred employees the opportunity to transfer their jobs to a
