Knox County prosecutor: Suspect in officer's slaying a 'bad, bad man'

A police officer in the Knox County village of Danville was shot and killed just before midnight Sunday by a man who reportedly was looking to kill the officer. According to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office, a dispatcher received a call at 11:20 p.m. from a woman in Danville, stating that her ex-boyfriend had weapons and was looking to kill an officer.
