Kasich hears about e-school bill as audits turn up more questions

As the Ohio Senate Democratic leader appears to be gaining support for his bid to beef up attendance requirements at online charter schools, state audits of e-school records continue to raise issues. Concerns that the state could be overpaying e-schools millions for students who are not completing close to the 920 hours of required coursework for a school year has put the attendance issue under more scrutiny in recent weeks.
