Johnson Park Middle School principal pleads guilty to theft, resigns
A Columbus City Schools principal who was paid $101,000 per year has resigned after stealing the wallet of a woman on food stamps from the checkout counter at a Goodwill store in Delaware last summer. Nicole C. Edwards, 40, of Westerville, pleaded guilty to a charge of felony theft in Delaware County Common Pleas Court in late April. She was ordered into a treatment program in lieu of a conviction by Judge Everett H. Krueger, records show.
