John Kasich says boots on the ground needed to defeat ISIS

Ohio Gov. John Kasich Tuesday made boots on the ground sound like an inevitability in the war against ISIS, but stopped short of saying how many, saying he would defer to military advisers. “You can bomb them until doomsday,” he told a crowd at the National Press Club, mere blocks from the White House that he hopes to inhabit. “It’s simply not going to work.”
