Indicted doctor from Dublin sues rival, claiming defamation

A Dublin allergy doctor who is facing Medicaid-fraud charges is suing a competing physician alleging defamation of character. Dr. Summit Shah’s practice, Premier Allergy, filed the lawsuit against Dr. Roger Friedman on Monday, less than three months after Shah was indicted on felony charges of Medicaid fraud, telecommunications fraud, tampering with records and perjury.
