Indicted Columbus-area elections chief placed on leave

A county elections director in Ohio who was indicted on charges of theft and tampering with evidence has been placed on administrative leave. The Columbus Dispatch reports the Franklin County's elections board says Director William Anthony Jr. was suspended with pay until the board's Aug. 1 meeting.
