Independent physician group in Ohio still growing

Independent doctors across Ohio are quickly banding together to preserve and improve how they practice medicine — and to strengthen their collective voice in their dealings with insurance companies, suppliers and lawmakers. The new organization, the Ohio Independent Collaborative, in October welcomed Central Ohio Primary Care, whose 285 physicians treat about 350,000 patients.
