In reversal, Fairfield County GOP chief asks indicted Lancaster mayor to step down

LANCASTER — The chairman of the Fairfield County Republican Party now is asking for indicted Lancaster Mayor Brian S. Kuhn to resign. Kuhn, a 52-year-old Republican who took office in January, said he doesn't plan to step down after being indicted Friday on two counts of failure to file a state income tax return.
