Impaired driving suspected in fatal wrong way crash on southeast side

One person was killed and several others injured after a crash Tuesday afternoon in southeast Franklin County.The crash happened on the ramp from US 33 westbound to Refugee Road just before 1 p.m.According to Columbus Police, a Chevrolet Tahoe was driving the wrong direction on the ramp from eastbound Refugee Road to westbound U.S. 33 when it struck a Nissan Sentra head-on.The Tahoe's driver was taken to Grant Medical Center where police processed him as a suspected impaired driver.
