IGS Energy buys Dayton Power & Light affiliate

IGS Energy, a big player among unregulated energy suppliers, is getting bigger with the announcement this morning that it has acquired DPL Energy Resources, the unregulated supplier that had been an affiliate of Dayton Power & Light. With the deal, Dublin-based IGS is adding about 126,000 customers across Ohio. Financial terms were not immediately disclosed.
