Honor Flight solely for female veterans a first for Columbus

People are often surprised to hear that American women were among the military’s Vietnam War dead, but it came as no revelation to the 81 women who traveled to Washington on Saturday on what was the 77th Honor Flight from Columbus. Of all those flights, this one was historic: It was the first Columbus flight to carry only female veterans and probably only the second or third from anywhere.
