Hocking County man dies in house fire

A man died in a house fire in Hocking County on Thursday, and investigators are trying to determine the cause of the blaze. Firefighters found the body of Lawrence E. McDonald, 73, in the kitchen of his home at 44566 Carbon Hill-Buchtel Rd. in Ward Township.
