Hit-Skip crash leads to grenade discovery

A hit-skip crash on Columbus' west side led to the discovery of a grenade inside of a vehicle.The crash happened around 3:30 Friday morning on North Yale Avenue at Cable Avenue.The driver abandoned the car.A tow truck driver responded to the scene and noticed the grenade inside the car.Columbus Police called out the bomb squad to remove the grenade.Police closed off Cable Avenue between Wisconsin and North Yale Avenues.
