Hilltop man charged with murder after stabbing victim dies

A Hilltop man accused of stabbing a woman in June was charged with murder after she died today from her injuries. Candy S. Arthurs, 45, died at 3:40 a.m. today at Mount Carmel West Hospital, Columbus Police reported. Kristopher T. Amos, 37, of 200 block North Wayne Avenue, is accused of stabbing Arthurs in the chest with a large knife on June 23.
