High-schoolers start own honor society

Some students at Centerburg High School were dismayed in February when the National Honor Society announced that annual chapter dues would increase from $75 to $385. That was a huge sum for the small rural high school in Knox County. It would have nearly wiped out the group’s entire budget of $460, leaving no room to undertake any service projects.
