Hens killed, barn destroyed in fire at Licking County egg farm

LICKING COUNTY, Ohio - A flock of hens was killed and a barn was destroyed in a fire at a Licking County egg farm on Friday.The fire was at Trillium Farms on Croton Road.No people were hurt and investigators said there is no evidence of anything suspicious.The Licking County 911 Center said there is an odor of smoke that can be smelled as far away as Newark and Heath because of the fire.19 fire departments responded to the scene.Trillium Farms issued the following statement:“Trillium Farms
