Healing meal: Restaurant reopens following machete attack

Clutching small flags of the United States and Israel in his left hand, Hany Baransi stood in the middle of his restaurant this afternoon and, like a groom hosting a receiving line, bear-hugged every old friend and stranger who came by and told each one that he loved them. People swarmed into Baransi's Nazareth Mediterranean Cuisine today — its first day back in business since a man stormed inside with a machete Thursday and attacked unsuspecting customers and employees, wounding four.
