Hazmat situation prompts evacuations for several buildings in Gahanna

MIFFLIN TOWNSHIP – A suspicious odor forced several buildings to be evacuated Thursday morning in Gahanna.It happened around 7:44 a.m. on Research Road near Taylor Station Road.According to Mifflin Township Public Information Officer Melissa Rapp, crews are working to determine the source and location of the odor.Officials said there were a total of five buildings evacuated as a precaution.Mifflin Township fire crews told 10TV that the odor is some type of hydrogen gas or “sewer gas&
