Hazmat situation cleared at Mount Carmel West Hospital

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Columbus Division of Fire responded to a hazmat situation at Mount Carmel West Hospital on Monday.Battalion Chief Steve Martin said someone walked up to the hospital before 6:50 p.m. and claimed to have a dangerous powder in a plastic grocery bag.The bomb squad was called to the scene and investigators tested the bag.Martin initially said the person did not enter the hospital but later clarified the person briefly walked inside.Martin said it is still unclear what is i
