Guernsey County Sheriff's Office K9 laid to rest

GUERNSEY COUNTY - On Friday, K9 Rose of the Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office was laid to rest. She joined the force in 2005.Rose was the first law enforcement K9 in the history of the Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office and served as a single purpose narcotics detection canine.Rose was born in 2004 in Massachusetts and was sent to Texas for her initial training.She was then sent to St. Albans, West Virginia where she completed her training with Sergeant Traci Landis of the West Virginia
