Guard’s neck broken as 4 teens escape Ohio treatment center

CANTON — Four teens brutally beat two corrections officers Sunday night during an escape from a locked treatment center in northeast Ohio, breaking one officer’s neck. Wayne Eash, who will turn 60 next month, and a 62-year-old co-worker were taken to area hospitals as deputies were joined in the search by Canton police, Stark County Parks police and Ohio Highway Patrol troopers, according to the Stark County Sheriff’s Office.
