Greif Inc. posts first quarter loss

Greif Inc. has begun a new fiscal year with a net loss and a drop in sales. The Delaware-based packaging manufacturer has struggled because of weak economies in key overseas markets and because of the shifting value of the U.S. dollar relative to other currencies.
