Gov. DeWine declares state of emergency for 3 counties hit by tornadoes

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine has declared a state of emergency for three counties that suffered serious damage from tornadoes.The counties included are Greene, Mercer and Montgomery. Each county was hit by EF3 tornadoes according to the National Weather Service. One person was killed in Mercer County.The emergency proclamation will allow state agencies to provide resources and support beyond their normal authority.Purchasing requirements will be suspended for the counties as well so they can get re
