GOP candidate quits Franklin County commissioner race

The Republican candidate challenging Franklin County Commissioner John O’Grady for his seat is dropping out of the race. Jesse Thomas was seeking his first elected office, but he said Monday that he will exit the race as he and his family prepare to move to Utah to be nearer to his wife’s aging mother.
