Girlfriend to testify against dad of dead 5-year-old boy

A Bellefontaine woman admitted lying about the death of her boyfriend’s 5-year-old son and will testify against him at his murder trial. Skybree Schindler, 33, pleaded guilty on Monday in Logan County Common Pleas Court to a charge of obstructing justice. She agreed to testify against Anthony Allen Michael Barton, 24, who is accused of repeatedly beating Michael Barton. The boy died on May 20 at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
