Girl, 17, fatally shot on South Side

A 17-year-old girl has died after being shot late Tuesday on the South Side. Daylee N. Newman was found by officers on the floor of a home in the 400 block of E. Markison Avenue shortly after 10:30 p.m. The officers were called to the home on a report of a shooting.
