Ginther proposes new ethics regulations

Mayor Andrew J. Ginther has presented an ethics proposal to the Columbus City Council that calls for increase oversight of lobbyists, more campaign finance disclosure and the hiring of an inspector general. Ginther discussed the proposal in a meeting this morning with The Dispatch editorial board and said the council should vote on it by late February.
