Giant Eagle recalls pasta salad over listeria, salmonella concerns

PITTSBURGH - Giant Eagle, Inc. is recalling its smokey mozzarella pasta salad over possible listeria and salmonella contamination.The product is sold in the prepared foods departments in Giant Eagle stores in Ohio. It was also sold in the in-store salad bar, according to the company.Giant Eagle says it issued the recall in response to a notification from its supply partner, A.S.K Foods, Inc. regarding potential contamination with the red pepper in the salad.The effective dates of the potentially
