Columbus Police have closed Eakin Road in west Columbus following a gas leak.Crews were called to the 2100 block of Eakin Road Wednesday afternoon on the report of the leak.Officials from Columbus Fire and Columbia Gas is investigating what caused a gas leak.Authorities say Eakin Road is expected to remain closed for several hours between Whitethorne Avenue and Harrisburg Pike.No reports of evacuations to the residences in the area, according to police.Stay with 10TV and 10TV.com for updates.
