Gahanna tables controversial annexation plan 'indefinitely'

The city of Gahanna and a developer have shelved a controversial plan to annex Jefferson Township farmland and turn it into a housing development. After months of preliminary discussions — and plenty of push-back from city and township residents — Gahanna’s seven city council members agreed this week to “indefinitely table” the proposal.
