Funding issues stall historic Newark church’s renovations

NEWARK, Ohio — Members of Trinity Episcopal Church in downtown Newark had hoped this past spring that by Christmas they would be back worshipping in their sanctuary instead of in the adjoining auditorium on metal folding chairs. But now, in December, the temporary chairs in the church’s auditorium haven’t budged.
