Frito-Lay recalls some potato chips for possible salmonella contamination

Frito-Lay is recalling some of its chip products because they could be contaminated with salmonella.The Food and Drug Administration said the supplier recently recalled the seasoning blend which includes jalapeño powder because of the possible contamination.The recall affects select Jalapeño Flavored Lay’s Kettle Cooked potato chips and Jalapeño Flavored Miss Vickie’s Kettle Cooked potato chips.The FDA said no salmonella was found in the seasoning given to Frito-
