Free COTA bus-pass trial freed up some Downtown parking

Carrie Rose was afraid to give up her parking space at the Columbus Commons garage for a free bus pass. She was afraid of being stuck on an unfamiliar bus line or having an emergency and no car nearby. But the allure of saving $85 a month on parking — plus what she spent on gas and wear-and-tear on her car — bought her some courage. And so far, she hasn’t needed her car.
