Franklinton Rising transforming homes & lives

The latest home renovation project in the west Columbus neighborhood of Franklinton is transforming more than homes.The non-profit group called Franklinton Rising held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Monday to celebrate a newly completed renovation project of a home on Chicago Avenue.The group is giving at-risk youth an opportunity to work alongside skilled contractors to learn valuable building trade skills.18-year old Quinton Mayle is one of the teens who helped transform the once dilapidated house.
