Franklin Township, owner discuss future of Westland Mall

Westland Mall is on the verge of becoming a major fire hazard, and the solution may be to tear down the West Side fixture. Officials from Franklin Township and Plaza Properties, which owns much of the 70-acre, mostly vacant, mall, met Tuesday to discuss its fate.
