Franklin Park's waterfalls run dry, awaiting new pumps

The Franklin Park Cascades have not been cascading this year. Or much of last year. Frequent visitors such as Pamela Jones have noticed the waterfalls with no water. “My grandson was like, ‘Nana, why is the water gone?’” said Jones, 54, who lives nearby on Franklin Park North and was with 11-year-old grandson Anthony Stewart on Monday afternoon.
