Franklin County Sheriff's deputy involved in crash in southeast Columbus

COLUMBUS -A Franklin County Sheriff's deputy was involved a two-vehicle crash on US-33, according to Columbus police.Investigators say the deputy was traveling along with his K9 unit Saturday just before 2 a.m. on US-33 eastbound near the Refugee Road ramp when he was t-boned by another vehicle.The deputy was transported to Grant Medical Center and is expected to recover.The condition of the person in the other vehicle has not been released.
