Franklin County recorder mulls run for former Tiberi seat

Democratic Franklin County Recorder Danny O'Connor will decide by Friday night whether to enter the race for the congressional seat left vacant by the retirement of Republican Pat Tiberi of Genoa Township. O'Connor, 31, who late last year ruled out running for the congressional seat, said during the past week a number of Democrats have urged him to reconsider and enter the Democratic primary against former Franklin County Sheriff Zach Scott and others.
